As an HR Partner at Amazon, I leverage my IT system support skills and certifications to influence change and foster an environment of inclusion for all employees. I have over 13 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee engagement, problem solving, and talent management. I am passionate about relating with and meeting people at the points of their needs, and I am always eager to learn new technologies and tools that can enhance the HR function and the employee experience.I joined Amazon in 2018 after working as a Learning & Development Officer and an HR Analyst in one of the leading financial institutions in Africa. At Amazon, I partner with leaders at multiple levels of the organization to develop forward-looking strategies and goals, and to coach and support them in onboarding and workforce planning. I also ensure data integrity in HRIS systems, coordinate with managers on scheduling and payroll, and assist internal customers with benefits, orientation, and general inquiries. I am a pioneer member of the President Obama\'s Young Africa Leadership Initiatives (YALI), and I have volunteered and mentored for several national and international not-for-profit organizations. I hold a bachelor\'s and a master\'s degree, and I am pursuing a doctoral degree. I am also a certified project manager, a certified scrum master, and an SHRM-CP.
