ABOUT OSKAR NIKOLAS LINGK
I am currently part of the Investment Team at Cherry Ventures, supporting great European founders to build exciting new things. Absolutely loving it. Before joining Cherry, I was a Consultant for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Berlin, where I lead workstreams across various industries, including Private Equity, Technology, Climate Tech, Logistics, and Industrial Goods. With projects ranging from creating an A.I-driven B2B Climate Tech software tool or developing a Go-to-Market strategy for a B2B SaaS-product to conducting a commercial due diligence on the acquisition of a TV network. Previously, I was lucky to learn a ton by co-founding several companies with great partners and friends. The latest was UPLab, a digital survey provider for urban planning processes, where I handed over leadership to a new partner. The clients included e.g, the GiZ, European Union, Jamestown, Art-Invest Real Estate, and various city governments. The company was nominated by Polis, the leading magazine for Urban Development, as a \'Digital Hero\' in the industry. I hold a Master\'s degree in General Management with focus on Entrepreneurial Finance and Venture Capital, as well as a Bachelor\'s degree in Culture, Communications, and Management from Zeppelin University. During my studies, I was a scholarship recipient of the Heinrich-Böll Stiftung. Apart from work and studies, I solo-traveled my way through more than 20 countries, worked as a Rickshaw driver in three of them and chased the ball as a defensive midfielder in the Youth Bundesliga for 1. FC Köln.
