ABOUT OSCAR RUMMERY

I am currently employed at Gamma as a Junior Software Engineer after finishing their Technology Graduate program. Over the last 2 years I have gained experience with different departments in their technology teams. I completed rotations with DevOps, IP Engineering, Infrastructure and Cloud Operations and Software Engineering. I gained a complete understanding of the technologies of the company from the management and deployment of the hardware in their data centres to the software that customers use to order their products.I graduated with a 1st class MMath degree from Durham University. I\'m also extremely proud to have been awarded the Mathematical Sciences 4H Project Prize for producing the top dissertation in my year group.In my final year I took modules on Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD), Statistical Mechanics, General Relativity and Riemannian Geometry. I have a particular interest in fluid mechanics and as such my final year project was on Hydrodynamic Stability.In previous years I have taken modules in a wide range of topics including Fluid Mechanics, Multivariable Calculus, Statistics, Quantum Computing and Abstract Algebra.
