Modeling and Simulation of various petroleum refining operating units including Crude units, Catalytic Reactors etc. • Set up a Petro-SIM application to calculate the SCD parameters crude units. Also performed testing of the closed form SCD in PIMS v11 for future use corporate-wide. • Assess/develop LP partials, build models for Petro-SIM full-plant applications, and support catalyst selection, project evaluations, and kinetic model tuning to test run data. Developed LP partials for FCCs and non-linear models for Reformers. • Provide technical support to engineers using process and kinetic models. Serve as point of contact for troubleshooting and knowledge transfer/training. • Utilize KBC’s Petro-Sim software package for plant simulation and crude assay management.
