In my current role as Chief Instructor, I am responsible for overseeing all activities at Welsh Harp Boat Station, a 29-bed residential centre located in North London. I have day-to-day responsibility for the standards of all training, equipment maintenance, as well as the welfare of both students and instructors at Sea Cadets Welsh Harp.Working with a team of employed and volunteer instructors, I uphold high operational standards in alignment with our Standard Operating Procedures, National Governing Body guidelines, and relevant legislation. My key responsibilities include coordinating instructor inductions, managing activity and staffing schedules, delivering CPD sessions, and regularly reviewing Standard Operating Procedures, Emergency Operating Procedures, and risk assessments to maintain a safe and effective learning environment.
