ABOUT OSASERE IGBINOBA
Howdy! I am a third-year undergraduate student at Texas A&M University studying Food Science and Technology, with a minor in Hispanic Studies. I am currently President of Texas A&M’s Food Science Club and am on the Product Development Team, often planning activities for the organization and currently working as a residential Advisor in Davis Gary Hall. This past summer, I completed my internship with Conagra Brands as a Product Development intern where I had the opportunity to work on an innovation project for their brand Gardien. The previous summer I worked with Ardent Mills as the Food Safety and Quality Intern at the Saginaw, Texas location. In this role, I had the opportunity to work on five different industry-based projects which gave me a greater understanding of processes and requirements for creating and maintaining quality control and production system and production. As a first-year student, I became a certified Preventive Controls Qualified Individual. I have always beenpassionate about food, but I particularly want to work in the food industry because of its impact. When I am not thinking about food, I am an avid reader, writer, musician, and athlete. My instrument ofthe choice being the viola and vocals.
