As a Trainee History Teacher, I am passionate about bringing the past to life for secondary school students and fostering critical thinking through historical inquiry. Currently undertaking my teacher training programme, I am developing expertise in curriculum design, differentiated instruction, and innovative pedagogical approaches that make history relevant and engaging for diverse learners.My responsibilities include planning and delivering dynamic history lessons across Key Stages 3-5, incorporating primary sources, multimedia resources, and interactive activities to develop students\' analytical and evaluative skills. I create inclusive learning environments where students feel confident exploring different historical perspectives and developing their own evidence-based arguments.Through collaborative work with experienced mentors and colleagues, I am refining my classroom management techniques and assessment strategies whilst contributing fresh ideas to departmental initiatives. I am particularly focused on integrating technology effectively to enhance historical understanding and developing cross-curricular links that demonstrate history\'s relevance to contemporary issues.Committed to continuous professional development, I actively engage with educational research and best practices in history education. My goal is to inspire students to become thoughtful, informed citizens who understand how the past shapes our present and future.
