ABOUT ORWA DIRANEYYA
An educator/prototyper. My job history spans business, educator, and technical roles. I taught core and extracurricular subjects in school, and conducted workshops and trainings in makerspaces. I have a wide exposure to the rapid prototyping mindset and techniques through roles in makerspaces, 3D-printer sales/technical support, research and consultancy. JOB SEEKING (2023): I am now seeking a role as an Evangelist, a Developer Advocate, a Curriculum Architect, Technical Writer, or anything to do with makerspaces. EDUCATION FOCUS (2023)- give more people the access to the unpackaged (i.e. open-source and source-available) software and hardware ecosystem, and allow the same audience to systematically develop innovative concepts while using less-code tools (such as NodeRED) to build prototypes very quickly, and collaboratively- create educational platforms that help people comprehend and master logical syntax (i.e. coding) without the need for a human instructor or human intervention, hence eliminating an array of problems that can arise from natural communication and social imprints which in my experience are real, limiting factors in teaching coding to an interdisciplinary and a cross-cultural audience
