Rated \"Best Big Band in Denver\" by CBS Local, FJO is a traditional 18-piece big band (5/4/4/4) that captures the romance and excitement of the Jazz Era: Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Stan Kenton, Gene Krupa, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Diane Schuur, Frank Sinatra, and more. We play in regular rotation at all of the major dance venues in the Front Range:* Dazzle Jazz* Dickens Opera House * Avalon Ballroom * Buffalo Rose * Mercury Cafe * Denver Turnverein * Caribou Room * Curtis Ballroom plus weddings, festivals, fundraisers and corporate events.
