Over the last fifteen years, Orly Khon became a leading floral designer in the Greater Boston area. Orly has built close working relationships with local vendors at the Boston Flower Exchange and numerous event industry professionals in New England at all levels – from small, family owned venues to Boston’s most prominent luxury venues and properties. Born in Israel and raised in Venezuela, Orly is a graduate of Caracas Institute of Design and the Art Institute of Boston. She began her career as a design professional with a production/event design company and at a well-known Boston florist while she simultaneously earned her degrees in Graphic Design and Fine Arts. It was during this highly active period when Orly began to discover the ability flowers possess as a natural design element, perfect for expressing her creative interests in art and design. Since Orly’s early years in design, she has always gravitated towards colors, lines, materials, brushes and everything related to the process of self-expression through creating art. In 2003, Orly Khon Floral was born from the idea of merging Orly’s interests in art, floral design and event management. Orly’s background in Graphic Design and Fine Arts influenced an innovative style all her own. Orly loves geometric shapes, bold colors, and contemporary decor – design interests that significantly contribute to her unique style. Preferred among many well known caterers, photographers, and event planners, Orly has established herself in the Greater Boston event industry after nine successful years in the business.
