I’m passionate about creating meaningful change in the public sector by improving services, fostering collaboration, and leveraging innovative solutions to benefit local communities. I have a strong interest in civic technology and digital governance ~ particularly the ways that secure, thoughtful IT planning can modernize operations, enhance accessibility, and improve service delivery in meaningful ways.With 10+ years of experience in public sector administration, I bring a multifaceted background that spans communications & information technology, strategic planning, budgeting, procurement, community services, and human resources functions. In my current role as Assistant to the City Manager, I help lead citywide initiatives that support operational efficiency and organizational resilience, including work on long-term IT strategic planning and digital transformation.I stay actively engaged in cybersecurity risk management, governance, and compliance (GRC) through independent research and ongoing professional development, and I’m committed to exploring pathways that support secure, equitable, and future-ready public institutions.Additionally, I proudly served as a Commissioner on the Alameda County Commission on the Status of Women and Girls, where I advocated for gender equity at the county level. In this role, I collaborated with the community and policymakers to address the challenges women face and work toward creating a more equitable and inclusive environment for all.I value collaboration, innovation, and diversity, and I strive to bring those qualities to every space I work in.
