Orchid Health is working to bring exceptional, local healthcare to rural communities while advancing a new wellbeing-first model for community health to thrive. Our wellbeing-first flywheel guides our organization and is based on the core belief that a healthy healthcare organization starts with caregivers who are cared for and have the autonomy to do what they feel is best for their team, patients, and community. Employee wellbeing then supports trusting patient relationships, which in turn supports community health outcomes, ultimately leading to financial sustainability. Founded as part of Oregon\'s first Social Business Challenge (using business to create positive social change), Orchid has taken a different approach to primary care and community health by building local, autonomous care teams (clinics) that are deeply involved in their communities while treating the whole person and taking the time to listen to what matters most to each individual. We are continuously challenging the status quo in order to support caregiver wellbeing, and in turn, best serve our patients and communities.
