About Orion Dollar

I\'m a PhD candidate at the University of Washington studying the intersection of artificial intelligence, cheminformatics and computational chemistry. I am familiar with a wide variety of de novo molecular design models including variational autoencoders, denoising diffusion networks, large-scale language models and equivariant graph neural networks. My work places an emphasis on understanding and interpreting machine-learned representations of molecular structure so that the proper inductive biases can be built into AI frameworks for accelerating the exploration of chemical phase space. I also have experience with high-throughput computational workflows for creating large training and evaluation datasets with DFT or molecular dynamics simulations. I\'m set to graduate with my PhD in Spring and actively looking for roles as an ML researcher in industry so please feel free to reach out!
