About Orijeet Mallik
I consider myself to be an analytical explorer. I am passionate about unearthing information or knowledge from data. At my first project at Accenture as an ETL Analyst, I was able to gain a wealth of information from unorganized client-side source data and able to correctly analyze the ETL transformations and the target data, thereby improving the precision of the reports generated by my client. My thirst for knowledge and yearning to work in different roles has led me to work in different technical roles such as Tableau Developer, HIVE developer, SAP Analyst etc. and gaining hands-on experience with multiple ETL/ERP tools such as Ab-initio, Talend, Teradata, SAP BO, SAP BW etc.My experience as a Business Analyst at Technomarc, a company involved in distributorship, manufacturing, training and consulting in the field of hydraulics exposed me to the business side of things. Along with learning new and interesting hydraulics concepts and techniques, I was also able to apply my analytical skills in a real world business setting with favourable results.Currently, I am pursuing a Master\'s Degree in Information Systems from University of Washington, Seattle where I am learning advanced business concepts along with innovative ways to visualize and analyze data.Outside of work, I am passionate about music and I am a Trinity School of Music Certified Grade 2 Vocalist.
