Manage and lead the Emergency Planning Electric Org within current US Emergency Planning policy into processes and procedures that drive greater quality and performance. Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations and internal standards. Drive a culture that prepares for electric emergency events and lead EP team in accomplishing goals and objectives. Lead, complete and fully implement an annual review process of electric ERPs. Provide active support of large-scale real-time emergency events in an Emergency Planning capacity that supports the Emergency Response Organization. Work collaboratively in the facilitation of exercises and coordination of planning sessions that include Company personnel and Federal, State, County and/or Municipality agency emergency response organizations. Lead and oversee the development of improved end to end processes, validating/testing processes when needed to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance. Continuously seek to find a better way to drive greater efficiencies for the business and more effective emergency responses. Manage and execute contingency plans and ensure on-going program compliance within the Emergency Planning Electric organization. Support the safe, effective, and coordinated National Grid mutual assistance response and service restoration for National Grid customers through collaborative interaction with NAMAG and other organizations that support member utilities. Support the management of benchmarking and improvement of Electric Emergency Response Plans, Mutual Assistance policy and other supporting program documents to maintain emergency planning capability and enhance safety, compliance, and operability. Oversee numerous day to day functions such as: databases, resolve action items to completion, and project implementation progress to ensure that improvements are effectively implemented, and activities are completed as planned.
