ABOUT ORESTE EGIDIO

I I have worked for more than 30 years in the software and IT services industry, covering a wide range of roles in the most diverse areas of IT starting from HW specialist, to developer, to project manager to pre-sales technical advisor. I have gained deep knowledge and solid technical experience in DevOps solutions and in particular in the areas of Continuous Testing, Continuos Delivery and Value Strean Management. I have also expanded my experience to presales processes, developing my communication skills, both in one-on-one and public situations. The main responsibilities I take on and the skills I apply in my work are- Technical leadership and coordination of all technical activities to drive the growth of software and services at assigned customers- Organizing and leading Proof Of Concepts, MVPs and pilot projects- Consulting and designing solutions based on software lifecycle, DevOps and Cloud- Collaborating in marketing events- Speaking at conference events. I am used to and enjoy working in extended teams; I am accustomed to goal-oriented work that requires strong autonomy in organizing activities and work time. Main specializations: Over the years I have developed skills on Cloud Native platforms and technologies, Agile and DevOps practices to quickly translate ideas into usable applications and services. Having a broad knowledge of technology platforms, I mainly work with clients on- Cloud Platform as a Service- OpenShift architecture and Kubernetes- DevOps practices, collaborative development, continuous delivery- Application lifecycle management- Agile methodologies (Scrum)- Presales management- Organization of marketing activities, new product presentations and launch events;
