ABOUT OREST SVERYDA
I’m an MSc Law & Finance graduate from the University of Leeds with a strong interest in how companies make financing and capital structure decisions. I enjoy working with data, breaking down complex financial information, and turning analysis into clear, practical insights.Through my studies and research, I’ve gained hands-on experience analysing publicly listed companies using Bloomberg, Excel, STATA, and SPSS, with a particular focus on WACC, Debt-to-Equity ratios, and credit analysis. My distinction-level dissertation explored how Keiretsu affiliation affects financing strategies in the Japanese automotive industry.I bring an international and cross-cultural perspective, speaking English, Ukrainian, Russian, and advanced Japanese, and I’m particularly interested in roles that sit at the intersection of finance, analysis, and global business. I’m now looking for an entry-level role where I can keep learning, contribute analytically, and grow within a professional finance environment.
