ABOUT OREN SHERMAN

Oren Sherman has designed exclusive artwork for a wide variety of clients that include Steuben Glass, PepsiCo, the Disney Corporation, the Olympics, Visa, Hermès, Mobil Oil, and the U.S. Postal Service among others, developing custom artwork that is colorful, sophisticated, and contemporary. He is an alumnus and professor at the acclaimed Rhode Island School of Design where he recently launched an innovative giving campaign kicked off by leaving his own digital IP to the institution. His work lives at the intersection between visual storytelling, art and architecture, focusing on applying two-dimensional work in a three-dimensional way using the tools of narrative, color, and pattern to create an experiential space. In 2014 he began working at at Elkus Manfredi Architects where he crafts strategic narratives and original artworks, creating a multilevel, subliminal experience that resonates as an unspoken message. In 2022 he was awarded The Lifetime Achievement Award from Boston Design Week and in June 2022 he gave his first TEDx presentation “Finding Creativity: A Solo Journey to a Connected Place.” Specialties: Strategic narrative for business, color and pattern expertise. Most recently cresting design collections for Brintons /Standard Textile / Mohawk/ Durkan and RJF Koroseal with six coordinated collections.
