About Oren Berkowitz

I worked as an investment banking analyst at HSBC in New York, supporting M&A and IPO transactions, primarily across consumer and healthcare. I was the most junior member of the deal team on the $522 million IPO of Smithfield Foods, responsible for much of the underlying analysis and legwork across valuation, competitive benchmarking, and investor materials. I also contributed to a $1 billion biotech M&A process, where I rebuilt the merger model mid-project and developed a 24-page deck covering valuation, pro forma financials, and clinical trial review. As HSBC began winding down its investment banking operations in the United States and United Kingdom, I was given increased responsibility across strategic projects and internal support during the transition. I graduated from NYU Stern with a degree in Business and Political Economy. I bring strong analytical training, cross-cultural fluency, and a global perspective, with advanced Mandarin and conversational Hebrew. I’m now looking to join a high-performing team where I can hit the ground running and help exceptional companies grow. Outside of work, I spend my free time playing classical piano, boxing, and reading, especially in philosophy and psychology.
