About Ori Ratner

I’m a technology executive and co-founder with 20+ years building and scaling products, platforms, and engineering organizations across SaaS, consumer applications, and learning/upskilling.As Co-Founder and CTO of Quantic School of Business and Technology, I’ve led the technology vision from first line of code to a mobile-first, accredited business school and learning platform serving 1.5M+ learners and 25K+ graduate students and alumni. I’ve overseen architecture and delivery of our core systems (LMS, SIS, CMS, analytics) and a suite of AI-driven experiences, including advising, tutoring, coaching, and conversational voice interfaces used by a large share of daily active learners.Earlier at Rosetta Stone, I grew from intern and labs engineer to Chief Software Architect and Director of Software Development. I helped launch the flagship Version 3 platform, rewrote key infrastructure such as the online license server and web backend, founded the company’s first mobile applications team (initial iPhone app), and worked on speech-driven user experiences and language-learning products for international markets.Common threads in my work: designing scalable systems, building high-trust teams, and turning new capabilities into products that people actually use and value.

Built an award-winning, highly scalable, interactive, mobile-first education platform recognized by Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas and serving 1.5M+ learners and 25K+ graduate students and alumni worldwide.• Lead technology vision and execution for Quantic’s apps and proprietary internal systems, including Learning Management (LMS), Student Information (SIS), Content Management (CMS), and analytics, from initial concept through global deployment.• Build and lead a high-performing, distributed engineering organization from the ground up, growing the team to over 25 full-time engineers and contractors while maintaining exceptional stability, clear ownership, and strong execution.• Negotiate and deliver strategic technology partnerships and integrations—while establishing rigorous standards for scalable architecture, code quality, observability, testing, and data-driven analytics—to enable rapid international expansion (including launching operations in China within six months) and support fast, reliable product iteration.• Spearhead the development of AI-driven features across the platform, including AI Advisor, AI Tutor, AI Coaching, and conversational voice mode, now used by over 30% of daily active learners to enhance engagement, personalization, and learning outcomes.
