ABOUT IAN KING

Ian has worked in the IT/Finance arena for 20+ years dedicated to projects designed to gain competitive advantage and improved financial performance through the implementation of Oracle Cloud/Oracle E-Business Suite and supporting technologies. Of this, the last 11 years has been focused on all aspects of Application Management including support, development, product management and deployment.Commercially aware and supported by well-developed inter-personal skills, Ian is an effective communicator, able to work with stakeholders at all levels. Ian is a Functional Lead, Solution Architect and Test Lead with a proven track record having contributed to a large number of Oracle Cloud/Oracle E-Business Suite projects within blue-chip organisations world-wide, including implementations, upgrades and rollouts. He is fully conversant with all elements of a project life-cycle, from RFP, Requirements analysis etc. through to subsequent test and stabilization.As a versatile Oracle Consultant, Ian is used to working to in a multitude of roles at all levels, with a ‘hands on’ approach Ian is used to stepping in where required to ensure successful go-lives.Ian is an advocate of cloud and emerging technologies to further improve the customer experience and reduce costs.Prior to project implementation roles, Ian has worked in number of Financial Management Roles.
