   I work remotely with a team of developers to migrate and modernize Angular applications and Shared Components in order to bring consistency across the company consisting of 200+ teams. Solution - Migrated Angular Material components, Google Material components and Legacy components using migration scrips- Verified changed files migrated correctly and update components that didn\'t migrate correctly from MDC to GMDC components- Add accessibility support to qualifying components- Ran applications locally or in VMs to verify the application is able to build correctly- Verified if there are equivalent GMDC components to MDC components and update accordingly - Update and refactor Sass files, removing deprecated styles, refactoring styles to SCSS syntax and updating components so Screen Diff Image Tests pass in Scuba- Updated Unit Tests using Angular Testing Framework- Updated E2E Tests when UI and Component locators change, causing tests to break- Ran Change Lists through Critique Code Review System and verified all tests have passed and Project Owner signs off on Code Changes- Worked with other developers to solve blocking events so the team continued to move forward. Benefits Delivered - Basing Angular Material on top of MDC is a big step towards defragmenting UI component efforts across the company- Allowed Angular, Wiz, and ACX ecosystems to move to a component model based on top of MDC- With a common foundation, moved company closer to the goal of Core centrally managing design updates- The theming system for MDC-based components added a density API, making it easier to create consistent size of component elements in a view- Adds GAR 4 compliance to MDC-based components, supported by the Angular Team- Creates better alignment with Material Design and Google Material- Brings MDC-based components in compliance with Google Material 3 allowing it to receive update for Google Material 3 by the Angular Team.
