About Olivia Henderson

I am a firm believer in the power of public and nonprofit management, administration, and policy to end educational inequity and address the racism, ableism, and classism that disproportionately impacts marginalized students in our national education system. I recently graduated from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, earning a BA in Policy Studies and an MPA from the #1 school for public affairs in the country. I am currently a Substitute Teacher at Woodward Academy and am actively looking for full-time elementary school teaching roles or fellowships for the 20••••26 school year. Outside of my professional and career goals, I enjoy discovering new books, movies, and television shows, volunteering at youth organizations, and keeping up with women’s basketball, politics, and pop culture.
