I answer hotline calls from people experiencing domestic violence with empathy and knowledge. Using trauma informed practices, I provide an understanding space to help the caller navigate their situation, empowering them to trust their understanding of the situation and to access resources available to them. In this position, I build alliances with a diverse range of callers, including survivors from all walks of life, service providers and police officers. I also work to mentor volunteers at the Women\'s Center.
