ABOUT OLUMIDE OLAMIGOKE

My name is Olumide Olamigoke Jr- though many know me as “Olu” for short - and I’m a 2016 Olympian, photographic artist, media producer, and USATF Level 2 Jumps Coach. I’m deeply passionate about utilizing my gifts to be of service to others, and currently serve as mentor to a growing community of young creatives and athletes alike.The versatility of my skillset enables me to connect authentically with a diverse global audience, and has created unique opportunities to work alongside organizations such as Grand Slam Track, The Armory Foundation, the World Olympians Association, and many more. My expertise encompasses photography and videography, kinesiology with an emphasis on fitness, track & field coaching, and mentorship. My career began in 2012 with corporate wellness internships at the headquarters of Verizon Wireless, and Apple Inc, where I helped employees improve their health through fitness and positive lifestyle change. During that time, I trained and successfully qualified for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, while representing my motherland, Nigeria. In the years since, I’ve competed in global athletics championships, coached track & field athletes at the NCAA Division 1 level, and collaborated with corporations such as Nike, Spotify, Delta Airlines, the Centers for Disease Control, AARP, and Ebony Magazine to produce advertising and editorial media. Above all, I find value in leveraging my unique skillset to create value for clients, customers, and coworkers alike. I\'m a lifelong learner, and I attribute my success to a keen attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
