1. Founder President - Intelligent Blockchain Innovation Research Center

   Kwansei Gakuin University

   Apr 2018 — Present · Sanda, JP

   I defined the vision & strategy to launch an innovation center at Kwansei Gakuin University focused on non-cryptocurrency applications of distributed ledger technology. As part of this initiative, I conceived, designed, and developed a feeless, fast, lightweight distributed ledger technology (AIngle) that works with IoT devices. With AIngle, I am creating applications for autonomous vehicles and the democratization of spatial 3D metaverse objects involving drones, AR glasses, robots, wearables, 5G networks, AI, ML, and many more. Also, I was the principal investigator on a 3-year, €8.4M technology for first responders for disaster response research project involving over a dozen countries and over seventy researchers/practitioners in which AIngle was integrated with uncrewed aerial & land vehicles (UxVs), social network systems (SNS), common operational picture (CoP) software, augmented & virtual reality (AR/VR) applications, AI-based terrain and 3D mapping software, wearable devices (intelligent textiles, K9 smart collar, smartwatches), smartphone & tablet apps, and more.CENTER MISSION: Through the research and development of blockchain, Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and applications suitable for the IoT era, we aim to apply advanced technology in various fields related to human life, such as education and disaster prevention. In addition, we consider and research functional technological solutions to solve societal problems.
