Scope- Conducting flood hazard mapping of NH-3 aligned to beas river using HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS, to ensure infrastructure safety and minimize flood risk. Responsibility - • Collecting and processing GIS data essential to build HEC-RAS models. • Preparing the 1D mathematical model and analysis the flow data along with senior engg. • Result extracting and calibration of 1D model to ensure optimum accuracy. • Prepare 2D model of key locations to ensure factual results. • Preparing the hydrographs to run the 2D model. • Summarize the results of key locations. • Preparing the project report along with senior engg.2. Design of Strom water drainage of 23 newly added villages in Pune municipal Corporation. Scope- • Design of strom water drainage. • Adequacy check of natural streams and design the inadequate section for flood mitigation.Responsibility - • Watershed analysis of the study area using HEC-HMS. • Creating the network of road side drainage and cross sections of natural streams from survey data. • Analysis of urban sub-catchments • Calculate runoff coefficient to ensure efficient strom water management. • Design cost effective road side drainage network. • Design the natural stream section which is inadequate to carry design Strom discharge to ensure minimize flood risk. • Prepare a report which summarizes the design output. • Prepare GIS data to ensure smooth on ground implementation of the project.
