About Onisokien Osuamkpe
Hello! I’m Onisokien (pronounced OH-KNEE-SO-KYEN). I serve as the System Access & Capacity Project Manager at Seattle Children\'s, specializing in project/program management, continuous improvement, change management, and digital strategy across patient access and enterprise communication.I lead enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen patient-centered care, enhance digital communication (including AI-enabled platforms), streamline operational workflows, and support equitable access for the diverse communities we serve. My work is grounded in systems thinking, accountability, and a commitment to sustainable, human-centered improvement. My professional journey began as a Health Science student and collegiate football player at ETBU. Afterwards, I took the next step by earning my Master’s in Healthcare Administration from UHCL while managing referral operations at UTMB Webster. These early experiences shaped my leadership style: purpose-driven, operationally sharp, and deeply connected to the impact that equitable systems have on patients, families, and frontline staff.Beyond my formal role I contribute to the broader healthcare ecosystem by building large-scale employee engagement events, supporting organizational culture, and serving on governance councils for community-based clinics focused on eliminating disparities and improving equitable outcomes.Looking forward and reflecting on my career I’m passionate about leading initiatives at the intersection of health equity, AI innovation, community connection, and system design. My long-term goal is to build programs and platforms that uplift under-represented communities and shape the next era of accessible, technology-enabled care, or belonging.Outside of work, you’ll find me hiking through forests, tubing cold rivers, sailing, biking, attending concerts, or exploring new cuisines around the world.
