Confer with attorneys about legal strategies, and assist them in analyzing complex legal issues in nonimmigrant visa applications, such as eligibility criteria, visa status changes, and renewals- Prepare and file petitions for various non immigrant and immigrant visa petitions related to business, investment and employment based processes, such as: E, L, TN, O-1, and EB-1C- Assemble complete visa application packages, including forms and supporting materials- Respond to government agency requests, including filing supplementary documentation, providing clarification; and preparing responses to RFEs and NOIDs- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, requesting documentation to initiate and prepare cases, providing updates on case status and answering inquiries regarding immigration processes, and scheduling visa interviews- Conduct legal research on current immigration laws, regulations, and policies related to nonimmigrant visas- Develop and manage case timelines, ensuring all relevant tasks are completed within established timeframes, and run reports to monitor cases status and expirations- Assist in training junior paralegals or new team members on immigration processes, case management, and documentation practices- Share best practices with colleagues to improve case management efficiency and legal compliance.
