Whether it is lending a hand to a friend, a kind act toward a stranger, or using my skills to improve the health of those I serve, I am a natural born servant. This innate quality is reflected in my leadership style, and is at the core of all of my personal and professional successes. I am a curious, courageous, innovative, and driven leader, whose affinity for building relationships and connecting people with ideas, creates meaningful and lasting outcomes. Relationships are everything! Interpersonal relationships and relationships between people and ideas are the foundation on which positive impact is created. Bringing people and ideas together is my number one job as a leader, and an area in which I excel. I am especially fond of the mentor/mentee relationship. Mentoring is one of my passions. Helping others reach and exceed their goals, brings me joy. I am eternally grateful to my past and current mentors, and continue to seek new ones, as the learning journey never ends. My curiosity, courage and innovative thinking lend themselves to strategic planning, as well as operational and clinical leadership that allow for anticipating the shifting healthcare climate and leading the adoption of essential change initiatives. I am experienced in the inner-workings of pluralistic provider models and successfully navigating value-based and risk contracts, as well as improving population health. In short, I am a committed and dynamic leader who creates meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, for the purpose of driving impactful health services for customers and communities. On a personal note, when not leading positive change in healthcare, I can be found running a trail, paddling a kayak, or watching old movies and baking for others. My cinnamon rolls are to die for.    ProMedica

   Leading nursing and patient care services for ProMedica Health’s eleven hospitals, including academic, community and a children\'s facility, as well as ambulatory sites and the physician network. As Chief Nursing Officer, my primary responsibilities include advancing nursing standards, outcomes, and engagement; standardizing, developing, and ensuring the appropriate translation of evidence-based care; and serving as the chief liaison between nursing staff and senior leadership. It is also my privilege to lead quality, safety, and clinical risk as well as patient care delivery design and implementation. The ProMedica Health nursing team, along with our provider colleagues and other clinical departments, provide collaborative leadership and effective management of the delivery of health care services within the clinical settings across the ProMedica Health continuum of care. The combination of this multidisciplinary approach and placing the patient at the center of all that we do, creates a care delivery model through which we provide the highest level of quality, safety, and experience to the patients, families, and communities we serve.
