   Some examples of my work- Facilitating community committees that work with federal agencies on large toxic site cleanups: The Hudson Community Advisory Group (with EPA, on the removal of PCB’s from the Hudson River) and the Pease Restoration Advisory Board (with the U.S. Air Force, on the removal of groundwater contaminants near Portsmouth, NH)- Co-led the City of Somerville, MA’s climate ambassador program for 6 half-year cohorts for residents to foster community, information exchange and local action on climate change- Helped a coalition of nine organizations that set ambitious forest-protection goals in rural Maine work through strategic questions and develop a work plan for the year- Over a decade, helped guide and facilitate the Hudson River Sustainable Shorelines Project, collaborative research on the ecological, climate and community benefits of sustainable shorelines- Co-facilitate Forest for All NYC, a coalition of over 170 organizations that developed the first ever urban forest agenda for the city and advocated to the city to pass laws requiring ambitious urban forest targets- Teaching graduate students at the Yale School of the Environment collaboration and multi-party mediation.I am listed on the roster of conflict resolution professionals of the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution and co-authored the book Land in Conflict: Managing and Resolving Land Use Disputes.
