ABOUT OMRAN EREIJ

I am a dedicated and experienced Supervisor and Trainer with the City of Toronto. I have a strong background in social work, nursing, and education, which enables me to provide effective and compassionate care to the most vulnerable populations in our city. I have worked with children, youth, the homeless population, and refugee families in various settings, such as Save The Children, COSTI, Dixon Hall, and the City of Toronto. I am skilled in managing and coordinating shelter operations, as well as training and mentoring new staff and volunteers. I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment for our clients and staff and fostering a culture of empathy and respect. I am always looking for opportunities to learn and grow and to contribute to the improvement of our shelter services.I connect well with all stakeholders, which helps me navigate the organization through significant technical and cultural changes. I am a compassionate leader who promotes the learning and development of my team and provides them with the flexibility to grow at their own pace.When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and playing Tennis!
