As a passionate educator and researcher at Shri G S Institute of Technology & Science in Indore, I have dedicated my efforts towards advancing the field of medicinal chemistry and drug discovery. With a focus on combatting antimicrobial resistance, my team and I specialize in discovering small molecules with potent antimicrobial activity.Through collaborations with esteemed colleagues in India, the UK, and the USA, we synthesize novel quinolones and N-heterocycles, testing them rigorously to ensure their efficacy. Our ultimate goal is to develop new probes with the potential to make a deep impact on the social health of people all over the world.As an advocate for academic excellence, I invite prospective students to join my lab and gain firsthand experience in medicinal chemistry and drug discovery. Furthermore, I am always open to collaboration opportunities with fellow researchers in the field, with the aim of discovering new and innovative antibacterial drugs for future use.
