ABOUT OMPRAKASH RAMAKANT SHETE

Hello! My name is Omprakash R Shete, and I am a Biotechnology and Computational Biology enthusiast with a background in molecular biology research. I completed my B.Tech in Biotechnology, where I conducted a research project on “Expression analysis of downy mildew responsive genes in grape hybrids” as my final year thesis project. Currently, I am pursuing my M.Tech in Computational Biology and have been working on various aspects of metagenomics, with a focus on the human oral microbiome. My skills include data analysis, programming languages such as Python and R, and expertise in using various computational tools for bioinformatics research. I am passionate about applying computational methods to biological research, and I believe that my strong foundation in molecular biology coupled with my computational skills allows me to approach research questions from a unique perspective. In my free time, I enjoy reading about the latest advancements in biotechnology and computational biology.
