About Omkar Patil

I am a University of Maryland graduate majoring in Telecommunications. I have completed my undergraduate degree with Electronics and Telecommunication as my major. I am passionate about technology and am always on the lookout for new challenges.I have always maintained a balance between academics and co-curricular activities. Maintaining a good GPA was always my top priority but I also participated and organized many events for my undergraduate college. I was also part of various group and individual projects which provided me the practical edge that I needed. Right from my undergraduate years, I was interested in wireless systems and technologies. Therefore I concentrated my focus on learning the basics of cellular communication and continued to learn more about it. In a quest to acquire knowledge about the emerging trends in the wireless world, I decided to pursue higher education in the US.Currently, I am seeking full-time opportunities in the wireless industry so that I can gain relevant work experience and be able to connect the knowledge acquired during my masters with the practicality of things in the wireless world.
