I specialize in Disaster Recovery Automation & Business Continuity, ensuring seamless failover between Primary (PR) and Disaster Recovery (DR) sites while optimizing RTO (Recovery Time Objective).Key Responsibilities & Expertise: Configuration & Setup:Work with teams to analyze trap & runbooks—which include all application details, scripts, and configurations.Configure Linux, Solaris, and Database (DB) servers step by step in our automation tool.Ensure all servers are working fine through rigorous testing. 24/7 Monitoring & Troubleshooting:Monitor systems continuously and resolve any issues that arise in real time.Troubleshoot errors and ensure smooth operation of DR workflows. Disaster Recovery (DR) Drills & Execution:Configure workflows based on runbook details and create execution profiles.Perform DR Drills by executing workflows and verifying successful failover.SO (Switch Over) Activity – Stop services at the PR Site and start them at the DR Site (making DR live).SB (Switch Back) Activity – Reverse the process, making PR live again.Pull DR Drill Reports, document execution details, and track improvement areas. Patch Deployment & System Updates:Ensure patches are deployed successfully while maintaining service continuity. Collaboration & Reporting:Arrange and coordinate meetings with multiple teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.Maintain detailed logs & evidence of all DR drills, issues, and resolutions.Analyze and document issues to prevent recurrence in future drills.My goal is to enhance disaster recovery efficiency, minimize downtime, and ensure seamless business continuity.
