About Omkar Bhatt

Graduate student at Stony Brook University studying Computer Science, with interest in Artificial Intelligence, Algorithmic Composition, Data Science and Visualization. Currently studying the following courses: Human Computer Interaction, Data Science Fundamentals. I have work experience as a Technology Analyst at ZS, where majority of my responsibilities included designing software and tools to cater specific needs around Sales and Marketing. I gained experience in developing scripts for data analysis, reporting and enhancing user experience in Python, Microsoft Excel, VBA, and Outsystems. I have led my team in multiple successful projects and was appreciated for my communication and ownership. Since my early years I have drawn inspiration from science fiction and games, helping me keep up to date with upcoming technologies. Along with playing (board/video) games in my free time, I also like to study game development and have made games on my own to test my skills. I am currently also learning music theory and composition at Stony Brook which has developed my interest in Algorithmic Composition and involvement of AI for music composition. I\'m collaborating with a few composers at the Stony Brook Music department to learn and research about the same, while implementing a project to compose music via gesture. This has also led to me working on creating a python library for music analysis and manipulation, while picking up skills in software such as MAX/MSP and Ableton Live.
