Pioneering Linguistic Equity: Spearheaded an experimental course focused on the application of Linguistic Equity principles within the LINC classroom as part of an experimental project for the IRCC. This innovative curriculum addressed critical issues of race, ethnicity, indigeneity, and colonial influences, fostering a culturally sensitive and equitable learning environment.• Individualized Learning: Implemented Portfolio-Based Language Assessment (PBLA) and Task-Based Language Assessment (TBLA) methodologies to assess student progress and skill development. Empowered students to actively engage in tracking their language proficiency journey through the creation and maintenance of personalized portfolios.• Professional Development & Collaboration: Actively participated in professional development sessions and Sharing Day activities, contributing expertise and learning from colleagues. This commitment to continuous improvement fostered a collaborative and supportive teaching community.• Adaptability to Online Learning: Successfully taught online courses through synchronous and asynchronous means, showcasing adaptability and proficiency in leveraging virtual platforms to facilitate effective and engaging learning experiences.
