I am a Packaging Material Science Engineer with a strong foundation in pharmaceutical and medical device packaging. My experience with industry standards, regulations, and sterile barrier systems enables me to contribute to safe, effective, and innovative healthcare solutions.Passionate about learning new tools and emerging technologies, I am driven by the opportunity to positively impact patient outcomes through science-based engineering. I’m committed to continuous growth and to serving my community by advancing technologies that improve quality of life.As an engineering professional specializing in medical device packaging and sterile barrier systems, I serve as a technical lead across all phases of design, development, and manufacturing transfer. I bring extensive experience translating customer and clinical requirements into robust, manufacturable solutions by creating detailed specifications, prototypes, and comprehensive testing strategies.My work includes evaluating and recommending materials, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to support both development-stage and long-term production needs. I ensure that all designs meet manufacturability, cost, and regulatory requirements while driving seamless technology transfer to manufacturing, including the development of production tools and fixtures.Lead workflow studies focused on clinical procedures, usability, and device handling, and I collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including hardware, disposables, clinical, and UI/UX—to align packaging solutions with real-world clinical workflows. I also facilitate innovation by leading brainstorming sessions and contributing to intellectual property development in partnership with senior staff and legal teams.My technical responsibilities encompass executing studies and experiments, compiling and analyzing test data, and generating clear, compliant reports. I produce a wide range of engineering documentation to support the Quality Management System.I oversee technicians, junior engineers, and external test partners as needed, and collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to qualify equipment, validate packaging processes, and support biocompatibility and sterilization validation.With the potential to serve as the primary packaging technical lead across the organization, I continually strive to elevate product quality, reliability, and user-centered design through disciplined engineering, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong commitment to patient safety.
