About Omesh Subash

As a Chemical Engineering undergraduate at NIT Calicut, I am passionate about research and innovation in sustainable energy technologies. Currently, I am working on a research project in cathode catalysts for Microbial Fuel Cells (MFC), focusing on enhancing efficiency in bioelectrochemical systems. Alongside my core field, I have a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, for which I am currently pursuing a minor course.I have developed coding skills in Python and C++, applying them to problem-solving and engineering applications. My leadership and organizational abilities have been shaped by my roles as a Program Committee Member for Tathva \'24 and Ragam \'25 and an Expo Committee Member at the IEDC Summit. Additionally, I am an active member of NSS NITC, contributing to various social initiatives, and have been part of the SB Kerala Section (20••••24).I am always eager to explore interdisciplinary applications of chemical engineering, AI, and computational techniques.

CPCL is proud to be forerunner in manufacturing and supplying indigenously produced fuel to the defense sector. Paraffin wax produced at CPCL is supplied mainly to Domestic and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises which support the livelihood of beneficiaries. In a Joint venture with IOCL, CPCL is setting up a new Refinery of 9.0 MMTPA capacity at Cauvery Basin, Nagapattinam along with a Petrochemical facility at a Project Cost of Rs. 31,580 Crore. The project adopts latest indigenous technologies for the main process units, as part of the nation’s vision of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat. The project also generates 13 million Man-days employment, thereby promoting economic development of the region. CPCL has set an exemplary track record in the environmental field by implementing various ‘Environmental Protection & Conservation Measures’ from time to time enabling sustainability over the years. CPCL is utmost delighted to contribute more as a “Energy Company” and be a part of nation’s growth history, promoting socio-economic development of the country.
