Responsible for orchestrating the site visits, surveys and deployment of dark fiber, metro ring and submarine cable as outlined in detail design plan for the end to end connectivity of landing stations, central offices and data centers over Ciena DWDM nodes installed at different geographical locations.Lead multiple projects for technical implementation including the positioning of adequate resources, change control, KPI’s, Configuration management, scheduling, budgeting, quotations, and progress report to concerned audience.Providing overall direction and management to implement large, complex projects and programs within a customer network, in service network consolidations or a large volume of various size projects and hosted solutions involving 3rd party products/applications.Responsible for the end to end delivery of Ciena DWDN and OTN product over dark fiber, point to point and channelized STM, 10 Gbps to 400 Gbps interconnect national and international link to geographically distributed data center sites for Equinix, Cologix, AT & T, Microsoft, Amazon and Rogers.Evaluate and approve planning and implementation of Ciena active and passive fiber infrastructure roll out including outside plant civil works for FTTx and point to point connection over GPON by managing SHEQ, technical processes and liaising with local municipality for permits. Responsible for planning and alignment on infrastructure plan with Rogers, Bell, AT & T, Verizon, Ontario Power Generation, Manitoba Hydro, Canada rail to convert the backhaul transmission over DWDM to provide stable and high bandwidth connections for Mobility services, 5G & IOT integration.Participate in change advisory board meeting (CAB) on weekly basis for planned upgrades, migrations, and routine maintenance to aligned changes without any impact on agreed SLA and OLA.Works closely with service engineering team and TPM for the projects required EMOP to align for the activity covered under maintenance windows.
