I have over twenty years experience as an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Professional and have been expanding my functional and operational leadership skillsets.In addition to EHS, I also have experience leading Maintenance, Manufacturing, and Value Stream teams. Working for two large corporations over my career, Flowserve and Eaton, allowed me to interact with all levels of organization lead in a variety of work environments: manufacturing, office / headquarter locations, research and development, and satellite / field locations.I have a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and a Masters of Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences, both from the University of Michigan.I am a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager and have Michigan DEQ Certifications Storm Water Management (A-1i). I am currently serving as the President of the Michigan Chapter of AHMP and am on the board for the Blacks in Safety Excellence community for ASSP. I am married and have six wonderful adult children.
