As the Vice President of Legal and Government Affairs and the U.S. General Counsel for Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), I oversee all legal matters for the largest manufacturer and distributor of cigars and pipe tobacco in the world. With over six years of experience in this role, I have successfully managed complex litigation, regulatory compliance, intellectual property protection, and government affairs for STG\'s U.S. companies, which include General Cigar Co, Inc, CigarsInternational.com, Thompson Cigar, Club Macanudo, and Scandinavian Tobacco Group Lane Ltd.My core competencies include intellectual property counseling and litigation, anti-counterfeiting, brand protection, commercial litigation, internal investigations, and white collar criminal defense. I have a strong track record of achieving favorable outcomes for my clients, both in and out of court, in cases involving trademark infringement, copyright violation, trade secret misappropriation, contract disputes, antitrust, and fraud. I also advise and represent STG in matters related to federal and state tobacco regulation, taxation, and legislation. My mission is to protect and advance STG\'s interests and reputation in the highly competitive and regulated tobacco industry, while maintaining the highest ethical standards and professionalism.
