About Omar Khadimally
Hello! My name is Omar Khadimally! I have recently earned my MBA from UT McCombs School of Business, and I am currently an Advanced Unconventional Reservoir Engineer at ExxonMobil in our Delaware Basin team evaluating New Mexico acreage for future development opportunities. Additionally, I serve as a Development Planner for our team, stewarding multiple outlying developments to optimize the portfolio and maximize value for our shareholders. Prior to this role, I was an Uncon RE managing ExxonMobil dry-gas assets in the Haynesville Basin area (East Texas & Louisiana) for two years. Before that, I was a Reservoir Characterization Engineer in our EMTEC (ExxonMobil Technology and Engineering Company) division, where I focused on fluid/PVT modeling and unconventional rock coring analysis. Additionally, I completed the Engineer-in-Operations rotational program to expose new hires to upstream field experience. I attended the University of Texas at Austin earning a degree in Petroleum Engineering with Honors.I am a strong communicator with a strong passion for leading and working with others. My strong technical foundation of upstream oil and gas is paired with a broad understanding of business principles, and I am passionate about implementing both skillsets! Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have!
