About Omari Emmanuel
Originally from Accra, Ghana, I moved to the US at 17 as an exchange student through the State Department\'s YES program. Today, I\'m a senior at Queens University of Charlotte, with a strong foundation in Data Analytics & Mathematics and an interest in its applications in Applied Finance, Technology, and Public Health Research.I’m drawn to work that uses analytics, modeling, and emerging Agentic AI to establish enterprise data requirements, and inform technology & data strategy at scale. This includes designing and building AI & Data capabilities for major multi-national financial clients through my internships at EY, alongside a particular interest in entrepreneurship and venture investing in Health Tech across African markets.Currently, I\'m channeling this passion into a project focused on optimizing public health resource allocation in Ghana, a cause driven by a deeply personal connection to the realities of healthcare access in my home country. The work draws on demographic, income, and healthcare access data to address gaps in resource distribution. On campus, I serve as the Senior Class President, shaping class-wide priorities and working directly with senior administrators on student experience and institutional decisions. As Co-President of the iBelong Mentoring Program, I co-design and run a rigorous leadership pipeline for men of color rooted in professional excellence and community.
