He/Him Strategic and insightful sport management professional with over 6 years in semi-professional and professional football. I have a robust history of identifying and developing athletes and curating winning teams. Personal Goal: Help athletes get jobs in professional football while helping teams win championships. Omar Saulters is the Assistant Director of Scouting for Quad City Steamwheelers and Executive Director of Player Personnel at Jet Sports Agency. Omar was formerly at Gallagher, a Fortune 500 risk management firm and consulting agency. Omar oversaw the Human Resource Development consulting niche in the Public Sector department at Gallagher before moving into a full-time consulting role. Omar’s experience across consulting, sports, and sales offer a perspective from both the business side and player development side of professional sports. He has owned and operated his own semi-pro team for close to 5 years, the Rockford Revolution. Omar was successful in closing multiple consulting partnerships for Glovo, Gallagher, Revolution Football, NPBA, and NLFL. Prior to Gallagher, Saulters completed multiple internships and entry-level positions within the sports industry. These teams include Beloit Skycarp, Chicago Union, Roscoe Revolution, and Milwaukee Ballers. He has also spent his time learning the inside of multiple professional sport organizations across many different types of sports. These internships included everything from field maintenance to running an office as a General Manager. Saulters graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Rockford University with a concentration in finance in business with a minor in sports management. Following his graduation, Saulters still attended Rockford University, where he received his master’s degree from the Project Management program with a focus in sports. This marks the beginning of an exciting journey in Greensboro, NC, where I’ll have the opportunity to make an impact both on and off the field. In this role, I’ll focus on several key areas: Sponsorship and Ticket Sales – Developing innovative strategies to engage local businesses and fans, ensuring the Cobras’ games are an unforgettable experience. Managing Front Office Staff – Leading a talented team to achieve operational excellence, foster collaboration, and build a winning culture.**Running the Internship Program** – Mentoring the next generation of sports professionals and providing hands-on opportunities for them to grow in this competitive industry. Talent Evaluation – Partnering with coaches and scouts to ensure we have the best talent on the field to compete at the highest level.
