ABOUT OMAR ELSUIOFY

I focus on advancing industrial automation and smart building technologies at Smartopia Solutions Inc, where I help organizations design and deploy connected environments, intelligent infrastructure, and integrated digital systems.At Smartopia, we develop and implement solutions across industrial, commercial, and residential sectors, including building automation, production line automation, building management systems (BMS), control room integration, audio-visual solutions, digital signage, EV charging infrastructure, and security systems. Our goal is to help businesses and communities build smarter, safer, and more connected spaces through technology.My work is driven by a strong passion for innovation, automation, and technology integration. I enjoy combining different disciplines and technologies to create future-ready environments that improve efficiency, connectivity, and user experience.Before focusing on automation and smart technologies, I spent more than 15 years in TV broadcasting, live events, audiovisual (AV) technology, and media production, specializing in complex technical productions and immersive technology experiences.During that time, I worked with major international television networks including BBC, France 24, RT, and Al Jazeera, managing broadcast operations, satellite communications, and high-level technical production. As Head of Operations for BBC in the Middle East, I oversaw complex productions, coordinated global reporting logistics, and ensured seamless technical and editorial delivery.I also led large-scale corporate events, product launches, and experiential marketing activations for multinational organizations, including Johnson & Johnson, where I supported the internal launch of their COVID-19 vaccine initiative. In addition, I applied satellite transmission technology in the medical field, enabling the live broadcast of surgical operations for training and collaboration.As an early adopter of emerging technologies, I have implemented holograms, 3D mapping, transparent and curved video walls, robotic integration, and interactive digital content, creating immersive technology-driven experiences well ahead of industry trends.I am passionate about building innovative solutions that connect technology, media, and automation to shape smarter environments for the future.
