About Omar Alhinnawi

I developed a passion for machine learning and natural-language processing as an undergraduate. While my formal curriculum was weighted towards software engineering, I supplemented my studies to satiate my growing interest in data science and deep learning. I learned by reading scientific journals and implementing deep-learning architectures for a variety of problems including computer vision, decision-making, and natural-language processing.My academic and extracurricular activities later helped me secure employment at a research and development company. For the next two years, I had a life-changing experience immersing myself in the practical applications of deep learning, algorithmic design, and software engineering. I worked closely with senior scientists, PhDs, and accomplished fellows brainstorming efficiencies while absorbing knowledge and methodologies. I have consistently sought new and exciting challenges to overcome longstanding obstacles. Now I am in the final stretch of my time in graduate school with experience in big-tech companies, and I\'m excited to apply my knowledge in practical settings to push technology forward. I want to help others make their projects more successful. I aim to bring value to other tech companies by solving complex problems and offering optimal strategies wherever necessary. I am interested in facing new challenges and building meaningful connections with others!
