About Omar Ahmad
I’m a product manager with a technical background who enjoys building ambitious products and getting my hands dirty. Most recently at nSight Surgical, I partnered with the CTO to build a full-stack surgical intelligence platform integrating operating room workflows, analytics, and computer vision. My work has spanned product strategy, analytics design, data pipelines, and hands-on development using modern AI-assisted engineering tools.Across multiple startups, I’ve been the person who steps in wherever the work needs to get done. In addition to leading product initiatives, I’ve worked across go-to-market strategy, financial modeling, operations, investor materials, and customer engagement. Working in small teams has meant building the product while also helping shape the business around it.I’m particularly interested in how AI-assisted development, sometimes called “vibe coding,” is changing how teams build software. It dramatically accelerates iteration cycles and allows small teams to ship complex systems much faster.
