I have been recalled for a second time by Lloyds Banking Group to fulfill a crucial role in implementing a Group Data Control Framework (GDCF). This comprehensive cloud-based (GCP) solution was specifically designed to enforce data quality (DQ) controls across the organisation. Working closely with the product innovation team and various business domains, I successfully delivered impactful outcomes as part of my contractual obligations. Engaged with different business domains within the organisation to gain a deep understanding of their unique data types, flows, and requirements. This allowed me to align the GDCF implementation with their specific needs and challenges effectively. Assisted business domains in defining appropriate data quality controls within the Collibra platform, ensuring that data integrity and reliability were prioritised throughout the organisation. Worked alongside the engineering team to develop a custom Python engine, enabling the automation of defined data quality controls for efficient execution against BigQuery data sets. Supported the engineering team in building a user-friendly Tableau dashboard, providing real-time monitoring of control performance and empowering stakeholders with valuable insights. Guided and supported business domains throughout the onboarding process of the GDCF solution, ensuring a smooth transition and successful adoption across the organisation. Developed a comprehensive product operating model and user guides to facilitate effective implementation and utilisation of the GDCF solution at Lloyds Banking Group.
